Walk Leadership Foundations

Leading a group of walkers can feel daunting. What happens if someone gets injured whilst out walking? How do you make everyone feel welcome? What do you do if people are walking at different speeds?

Our Walk Leadership Foundations Course for non-members will point you in the right direction.

In this interactive course, you’ll hear from experienced walk leaders about what makes a great walk, get tips on how to plan and map your route, learn how to handle some of the scenarios you might face on the day and get tips on how to keep your group safe and happy. And what’s more you’ll also unlock access to our Walk Leadership webinars, giving you the opportunity to ask questions and chat to others interested in leading walks.

If you are an existing Ramblers member please speak to your group as you'll be able to access free training.

Our first Ramblers Stride course is available for an introductory price of just £35.
